The Parts of the Eye

The eye is the organ that allows us to see. It is very important but also very complex. It exists in a system of layers that are all very important and delicate.

These subtle changes translate into shapes and peripheral movement. Cones give humans the ability to see in color. They are located mostly in the middle of the retina. This area is called the fovea. The fovea is covered by the macula.
